My goals, gaming & personal for 2026 -

• 700 platinums (currently 628)

• >97% completion rate (currently 96.19%)

• earn an ultra-rare plat

• 12% body fat (currently 16.9%)

• stay injury free

• read a book a month (at least)

Everything above that is just a nice bonus.

• Game buying freeze from January 1-June 30. Unlike last time, this includes new preorders with the exception of anything Dragon Quest related. Obviously this doesn't count anything I preordered before today.

Made good progress this month (including my highest monthly trophy total since May 2024), though it did stall out later in the month. Really enjoying Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. A lot of reasons behind the stalled progress, but planning on continuing with the second half of the story very soon. 

Main goal is to hit 100 plats finally (currently 86). Getting to 7000 total trophies while doing it might happen too so that's a plus. Might try to clear some of the backlog away too

While not a goal per say, I am 14 platinums away from 400! Wonder if I'll get to 500 someday?

Gaming goals; I'd love to aim for completion, but I think to see a game through would be positive (i.e., actually stick with a game in my backlog!). So I would say my goal is to commit to a game, and to enjoy it enough to play through it despite life's many distractions. I'm going to say that game is...Ghost of Yotei!

Personal goals; running - I used to run regularly, only 5km/park runs, but I'd like to get back into it!

Some good goals already posted here, so I hope everyone sees some success this year!!

I haven't bought any new games since before the first of the year, but I did preorder Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar and the Black Flag Resynced CE, so I'm going to put it in orange rather than red. Due to how long Dragon Quest VII Reimagined has taken me, I haven't made much headway in game completion. My buying freeze ends next month and I will likely have some new preorders as well. Still, I've stuck to it relatively well and I have made some headway.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but these are my goals for this year for trophy hunting.

It may not seem all that impressive compared to some of the goals I've seen. it's just been a busy year for me. I recently moved in with my fiancée in february and we're getting married this year on June 13th so gaming has had to take a bit of a back seat but anyways.

My goals are:

• Reach 25 Platinum trophies total (currently 17/25)

• Reach 1,000 trophies total (currently 201 away)

• Continue adding to and improving my game room

• Make a dent in my backlog and finally play through a lot of the games I've been meaning to get to

I'm currently at 42 platinums, my goal is 50 by the end of the year, i'm currently on dark souls 3.

This is always an interesting one - people struggle to keep with finishing all the games they have bought. I know I have more than I think I will ever play in a lifetime...
